1) When FISL9.0 is going to happen?

On April 17th, 18th, 19th, 2008 - respectively Thrusday, Friday and Saturday.

2) Where and how to get there and what time is the event?

The event will take place in "Centro de Eventos" of Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS) located at Av. Ipiranga, 6681 - building 41 - Porto Alegre/RS - Brazil, in the same place of some early editions (fisl 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0).

The place of the event is 10km distant from downtown. You can take a cab or bus to go to the place of the event. It's always good to remember that not all brazilian bus and taxi drivers
understand or speak English. The following bus lines will take you to the event:

  • D-43 Universitária, departure from "terminal Parobé/mercado público"
  • 343 Campus/Ipiranga, departure from "terminal Parobé/mercado público"
  • 353 Ipiranga/PUC, departure from "terminal Parobé/mercado público"
  • T9/T9IPA, departure from "Praça Dom Feliciano/Santa casa"

3) How can I register to the event?

Click directly on link located on the top of this page and follow the instructions on the screen OR make your registration on the first/second/third day directly at the event.


4) What are the payment options and how can I get the receipt of the payment?

Credit Card online or in cash at the event. We don't accept wire transfers and there's no refund of any amount. Receipts can be claimed with our accountant agent directly during the event or by email 2008 AT softwarelivre DOT org.


5) Can I register on Internet and pay on the day of the event with discount?

No. Registration with discount are only offered when the registration and the payment are made previously on the Internet.
